Tandberg kits out VC push
Vendor wants to push widespread use of videoconferencing
Tandberg has launched a campaign to help push the widespread use of videoconferencing (VC).
The Tandberg Video Usage and Adoption Kit is an online programme that aims to drive employee use of video through awareness, guidance and training.
Paul Gullett, UK and Ireland managing director at Tandberg, said: âA lot of users have claimed that VC equipment is difficult to set up and hard to use, so the VC unit ends up sitting in a corner collecting dust. This scheme allows resellers to help users get started with video.â
VC reseller City IS has been a Tandberg VAR since 2001.
Ian Heard, director of global sales at City IS, said: âVC got some bad press back in the 1990s. Some people got their fingers burned and have been put off video. But I think the Tandberg Usage and Adoption kit will help us to drive more people towards VC.â
