LuxTech targets new markets with offering
Reseller launches Integrated Office for legal and accounting sectors
VAR LuxTech is hoping to build a reputation as a focused provider for certain vertical markets, following the release of its latest IP telephony offering.
The reseller has launched Integrated Office, a software-based converged IP offering aimed at the legal and accounting sectors.
Russell Lux, managing director of LuxTech, told CRN: “Integrated Office is a Sywx product which we have customised for small businesses in the legal and accounting verticals.”
Lux claimed the two markets are huge and that Integrated Office can also assist firms looking to provide customer billing.
“We will also look at the media sector and provide a Sywx solution based on this vertical,” he said. “We can supply all types of businesses, but getting known in particular verticals pays dividends.”
Lux added that Integrated Office is “a natural extension” to LuxTech’s portfolio that will allow the VAR to expand in the SME market.
“Integrated Office will address any business from the small office/home office user to companies with more than 250 extensions,” Lux said. “It will allow firms to run their IT and telephony applications on a single network and only requires one support contract for both technologies. This will reduce costs and provide a single point of contact for support and service.”
Bernie Dodwell, European security manager of distributor Westcon, said: “I think this is a very sensible plan from LuxTech. A firm that specialises in a vertical market can concentrate on the specific business needs of firms in that sector.”
Dodwell added that a small VAR concentrating on a vertical can expand into new areas once it is established in certain sectors.
