Midwich signs up Peerless in mounts deal

Company moves forward in agreement to distribute its professional-grade AV mounting products

Peerless makes mounts for TVs and displays

Midwich has signed a deal with Peerless Industries to distribute its professional-grade audiovisual mounting products.

Gordon Dutch, vice president of retail strategy at Peerless Industries, said BBG, which merged with Peerless about a year ago, has had a relationship with Midwich for a number of years.

“We have come a very long way in just over a year since our merger with US-based Peerless Industries, and I believe this is another significant step forward,” he said.

Dutch wears another hat in the merged company – that of managing director of its BBG-Peerless and Peerless-AV arms.

Lee Baker, business manager at Midwich, said the company wanted to add a third branded bracket to its range, after ending its relationship with OmniMount in 2009.

“We have been in discussions with Peerless for over a year, and seen them release some excellent consumer products,” Baker said.

“We will also launch with the Peerless cable range, which is ideal for customers that purchase consumer electronics products.”

Peerless has been making TV mounts since 1964.
