Bay Networks gets racey
High-speed networker Bay Networks has launched itself into the even faster world of GT racing, by sponsoring the #750,000 Gulf McLaren F1 GTR in the Brands Hatch leg of the BPR European GT Endurance Series.
The race at Brands Hatch in September promises a high-speed day out for lucky resellers and users. The sponsorship, as you can see from the above picture, is known in the racing game as non-TV-friendly - meaning you won't be able to see the name as the car shoots by at 200mph.
The space that Bay has bought on a Formula 1 car can cost more than #2 million, but it won't say how much it has paid. Bay will run a dealer competition offering tickets for the race, but has yet to decide the format.
