Microsoft prepares to deliver Results

The software giant is all set to launch its Net Results 97 programme

Microsoft is launching a new version of its Net Results education package aimed at spreading the Internet and intranet gospel among resellers.

?Recent research carried out by Microsoft around the country, through meetings with over 120 solution developers, system builders and Vars, showed us how much confusion there is in the channel over these technologies,? said Microsoft distribution sales manager Geoff Wright.

?This is a cost-effective way for resellers to get up to steam with what we?re doing on the Internet.?

Net Results 97 ? Internet/Intranet Edition is based on the huge success of a previous Windows NT/Office 97 educational package, which over 3,000 resellers bought last year. Wright said it is aimed at any reseller looking to get into the Internet/intranet market and wanting to get to know Microsoft?s offerings better.

The scheme will be launched at the Ingram Micro Showcase this week, but will be available through all Microsoft?s distributor and OEM partners. The #234 package gives resellers access to a wide range of products, courses and services including the following:

Wright said that Microsoft expects the programme to give an enormous boost to the understanding of the sales opportunities available to resellers from the Internet. ?There is a lot of opportunity out there, and we want to make it easier for resellers to get out and take advantage of it.?
