SonicWall breaks into the enterprise
Web security software vendor signs up 150 UK resellers
Internet security software vendor SonicWall has signed up half of its targeted UK resellers to its two-tiered partner programme since its launch in June.
The company said it hoped to sign up about 300 resellers in the UK to supply the increasing demand for its products. It now has 150 UK resellers, extending its reach in the enterprise market.
"We are still experiencing strong growth and moving further into the enterprise space," said a SonicWall representative.
Mark Carver, services director at reseller Fairbridge, said that since working with SonicWall he has won more corporate contracts.
"Before we signed to SonicWall most of our business was selling low-end firewalls to small to medium sized enterprises. But we are starting to see demand from bigger corporates for SonicWall's offering," he said.
SonicWall has signed up 700 resellers to the programme in Europe, catering for those that are new to, as well as established in, the internet security arena.
Peter Reynalds, managing director of Networks Unlimited, which has recently joined the programme, said: "The tools it offers us have greatly enhanced the level of our customer service."
