Several staff members at Memory Plus are to attend a police line-up this week to help identify suspects who attempted an armed raid on the company's premises.
The Wiltshire-based storage facility has been targeted three times in as many months by what is believed to be the same gang. Each time the suspects have failed to gain access to the building.
The most recent attempt involved five men toting crowbars and at least one gun, and resulted in a motorway chase with two police helicopters and an armed response unit.
David Flack, group marketing manager at Memory Plus, told CRN in September that he believed the gang would return, but added that his company "would be ready for them".
The police made eight arrests after the chase ended in a block of flats near Heathrow airport. Staff from Memory Plus have been asked to attend the identity parade to help police eliminate potential suspects from their inquiries.
A company representative claimed the gang failed because of stringent security measures installed by Memory Plus, and warned competitors to increase their own security to avoid becoming the next victims.
For any gangs planning another attack, he added, Memory Plus has installed two more new CCTV cameras and extra security lights. "The place is like Fort Knox," he said.
