Aramiska hit by liquidation
Firm pulls the plug with no warning to partners
Broadband provider Aramiska has entered voluntary liquidation and pulled the plug on its services with no warning to its channel partners.
Last month the firm sent an email to its channel and customers stating: “We regret to inform you that Aramiska and its services are shutting down. The company will be unable to provide you with internet access after today.”
One former employee told CRN: “I heard we were being acquired. Then we got an email saying the company was not trading anymore.”
Jess Thompson-Hughes, managing director at distributor React Technologies, said: “It makes us look unprofessional because we sold annual contracts, then with no notice Aramiska’s networks have disappeared. We have been left in the lurch and no one is available to talk to us.”
