Kenneth Lamneck fills position left vacant since Hennessy's departure in September

Kenneth Lamneck has been named as the new chief executive of Insight Enteprises.

Lamneck replaces former head honcho Richard Fennessy, who left the company in September to pursue other opportunities. Lamneck brings over 20 years' experience to the role, having served most recently as president of the Americas at Tech Data since 2004.

Timothy Crown, chairman of the board of directors at Insight, said: "We are very pleased that Ken will join Insight as its new president and chief executive. He brings a wealth of strategic and operational experience that is well aligned to the needs of Insight, particularly his proven track record of driving operational execution and increasing shareholder value for global enterprises in our industry."

Lamneck said: "Insight has a clear strategy and a strong foundation from which to grow. I look forward to leading the company through its next phase of development as a trusted provider of technology solutions worldwide."
