Cryoserver focuses on partner scheme

VARs will benefit from the increasing demand for email retrieval, vendor claims as it launches new programme

Email archiving vendor Cryoserver has launched a new partner programme it hopes will allow VARs to cash in on a rising demand for email retrieval.

The firm, which operates a 100 per cent channel strategy, already has a number of partners affiliated with the new scheme.

Paul Grossman, newly appointed worldwide sales director at Cyroserver, claimed that existing partners will get bigger margins. He added that there are additional incentives to attract new partners.

Grossman was appointed earlier this month as part of the vendor’s latest channel push. He is responsible for the growth and direction of Cryoserver’s global sales and channel strategies.

According to Grossman, the firm is looking to attract storage, network, security and hosting resellers. “The programme will appeal to storage resellers in particular because our offerings will support the sale of storage products. It will also appeal to security firms as they are well placed to get involved in such a set-up,” he said.

He said the programme will help Cyroserver increase its coverage, giving the company a wider channel and broader exposure in a variety of sectors.

The programme will have two levels: Authorised Reseller Partners for off-the-shelf sales of Cryoserver software, and Authorised Hosting Partners for partners adding to, and using, the vendor’s offering.

Darren Clarke, sales manager at Cryoserver partner CSF, said: “The biggest advantage is the way that Cryoserver has opened up the channel. It will offer exposure for us as Cryoserver has got a range of experts to assist us, and so will get the most out of us. We also have the opportunity to use its vertical partners.”
