PC Dealer backs Networks '99

PC Dealer has teamed up with Networks telecom '99 as official channel sponsor for the UK's leading technology event.

Acknowledging the importance of the channel in the provision of communications systems to most UK companies, an initiative for this year's show has been created to provide a comprehensive conference programme for traditional resellers, Vars and systems integrators operating in the voice and data networking markets.

The programme will run throughout the three days of the show, which will be held in June. PC Dealer, working with Mitel, Visio and Uunet, will put together a conference programme following a different theme each day - convergence, networking and the internet. Key issues that affect the channel will be discussed by top industry presenters, including customer case studies and the latest research and future trends.

Each day, PC Dealer will also host a panel discussion on the latest topics.

It will include a question time where resellers will be able to submit questions in advance.

Paula Barnes, publisher of PC Dealer, said: 'It's about time the channel had its own platform at the UK's top networking and communications event and we're glad that we have been given the responsibility of co-ordinating it.'
