NHS renews Redstone deal

Redstone Communications to supply public healthcare sector with communications technologies

Redstone Communications has had its contract renewed from the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) to supply the UK public healthcare sector with communications technologies.

The new contract runs for three years and enables Redstone to supply, install and support a range of voice, video and data products, and services across all 12 categories of the PASA IT framework agreement.

Rob Coyne, sales director at Redstone, said: “New technology plays an increasingly critical role in the modernisation of healthcare organisations. This endorsement from PASA underlines our commitment to the public sector.”

Redstone’s contract will cover NHS and healthcare sectors throughout Britain, as well as public-sector divisions, including education.

Steve Blood, research vice-president EMEA at Gartner, said: “We are seeing a lot of adoption of converged communications in the public sector. This is a typical example of a managed services contract, and winning it a second time is very positive for Redstone.”
