Communicate has developed a V.34 version of its Atlas PC card.
The Atlas GSM Prima is designed to be used with data compatible Motorola GSM/DCS mobile phones. The card will allow data transfer across GSM networks at up to 36,000bps and is priced at u449.

Tally has added a new printer to its T9000 laser printer range.
The T9208 will print eight pages per minute at 600dpi. The printer is priced at u569, comes equipped with the Microsoft Windows printing system, which is intended to make installation an easy process. The product has 2Mb of memory as standard which can be expanded to 18Mb.

Elsa has released a monitor with a 24in screen. Targeted at the Cad market, the Ecomo 24H96 uses a high-definition wide display trinitron CRT and has a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The monitor is being distributed by Force 2 International.

Two print server products have been developed by Pacific Data Products to increase its Directnet range. The EX II is an external print server which offers full support for Novell's 4.x network directory service and is much smaller in size than the EX model it replaces. The PEPS II Plus is a pocket print server with full multiprotocol support of Novell NDS.

Kyocera has released two new printers, the FS-1550+ , which prints at 10ppm and the FS-3400+, which prints at 18ppm. The two take advantage of open systems management to provide greater network efficiency. Both printers have a management information base on the logic board.
