Avnet catches Ericom

Distributor claims partnership will help resellers expand their use of the IBM server range

Avnet has signed a distribution agreement with Ericom Software to supply Ericom’s PowerTerm WebConnect software to its reseller base.

The firms claimed the agreement will allow resellers to expand their use of the IBM server range, as well as providing an added value for IBM’s new WebPortal software.
Colin Robertson, UK country manager at Avnet said: “We are confident that this new relationship with Ericom will bring significant value to our business partner channel and new market opportunities will be opened.

“Our business partners will now be in the position where they can provide a solution that enhances the flexibility of the enterprise desktop environment and is cost effective.”
