StorLife seeks VARs for compliance range

Content-addressable storage vendor offers starter pack for 'digital footprint' product

StorLife has launched its first UK channel programme and recently appointed distributor Acal to help it recruit resellers.

The vendor, which manufactures a range of content-addressable storage software, will also address the compliance market with the launch of its latest software suite.

“We are hardware independent, which means VARs can visit any of our customers with our products,” Colin Kaye, sales and marketing director at StorLife, told CRN.

“We held our first reseller day at Wembley stadium recently, along with Acal. We are offering a start pack containing demo licences, marketing support and sales and technical training.”

Kaye added that the vendor is looking for Microsoft-certified VARs, as well as those with a vertical focus.

Andy Kilduff, director of software development, said the firm’s new product range archives and retrieves information using a ‘digital fingerprint’ that ensures authenticity.

“Being hardware independent means IT managers don’t have the Hotel California problem of checking out, but never leaving [their storage platform],” he said.

David Lewis, managing director of Acal, said: “StorLife gives the channel the ability to sell more into their accounts to complement what they have already sold.”
