Prolinx eyes expansion

Virtualisation VAR gears up for recruitment drive following sales boom

VAR Prolinx has kicked off a recruitment drive after trebling its virtualisation sales last year.

The reseller is searching for more solutions architects to support its expansion into new areas, such as virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).

Mike Wheeler, commercial director and co-founder of 45-strong Prolinx, said: “Many of our customers have consolidated their servers and are now looking to manage that environment, so we will be investing more in VDI and disaster recovery.”

Wheeler added that Prolinx is aiming to increase revenues by 30 per cent in 2009.
Prolinx, which last month won the Best Revenue Partner Northern Europe Award from its Premier partner VMware, also has vendor relationships with Vizioncore, Plate- spin, Veeam and HP.
