Vendor helps VAR to multi-million pound contract
Projector vendor InFocus has helped one of its resellers land a slice of a contract worth £51m over three years.
Following a tender process, VAR Reflex has been appointed as an approved supplier by the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortia, Higher Education Purchasing Consortia Wales and the London Universities Purchasing Consortia.
The agreement covers the supply and installation of a wide range of audiovisual equipment to all the sites the consortia cover.
Roland Dreesden, managing director of Reflex, said: “The mindset of universities is very similar to that of corporates. They recognise the importance of a value-added solution and don’t just select a supplier on price.”
Richard Lomer, senior sales manager at InFocus, added: “We need to work with the best audiovisual resellers and Reflex meets our high standards.” C
