ScriptLogic unveils two tier channel structure

Vendor looks to recruit as it splits channel partners' status into Gold and Platinum tiers

Network administration vendor ScriptLogic has formalised its channel structure and is targeting new VARs.

CRN reported at the beginning of the year that changes were afoot for ScriptLogic’s channel (CRN, 9 January). The vendor has now split its partners into Gold and Platinum tiers.

Jason Judge, chief executive of ScriptLogic, told CRN: “We have 35 active UK VARs and we will be growing this number to 50 or 60. We feel there is the demand for our product.”

Judge said resellers will need one ScriptLogic accredited technical member of staff to become a Gold partner, and two to become a Platinum partner.

“We want to make sure resellers are not just a partner in name, but that they engage in the opportunities available. We provide the marketing and technical support and we have invested heavily in the UK,” he said.

Andy Langsam, chief operating officer at ScriptLogic, said: “Script-Logic has many customers across EMEA. The growing demand for our products and services has made the launch of a new EMEA partner programme a necessity.

“With the new programme, we are providing the tools and incentives to roll out our products, benefiting both our partners and our end-user customers alike.”

Cybis has recently been named as ScriptLogic’s first certified EMEA Platinum partner. John Hirst, Managing Director of Cybis, said: “We’ve worked with ScriptLogic for ten years. Their approach to the European channel is set to benefit the channel from a revenue perspective and gives the customers access to greater expertise through partner certification."
