New chief executive for Telecom Italia

Telecom Italia has appointed a new chief executive in an effort to put an end to the company's ongoing internal problems. Franco Bernabe, an economist, will replace the Italian telecom operator's former chief executive, Gian Marion Rossignolo, who resigned following a string of strategy blunders.
