InterQuad completes QA acquisition

Merger will create Europe's largest training company, firms claim

Training specialist and distributor InterQuad has completed its acquisition of QA to form QA InterQuad.

The two firms claim the combination, initially announced last month, creates Europe’s largest company to meet the extensive learning and development needs of public and private sector organisations. It will offer over 500 technical, project management and management and personal development training courses through 20 training centres dotted around the UK and Ireland.

From today the new company’s management will begin the planned integration of the two companies’ operations and service offerings. The management team of QA InterQuad is comprised of senior members from both organisations.

Christian Martin chairman of QA InterQuad Group, said: “InterQuad has experienced phenomenal growth during the last three years and this acquisition drives forward our strategic intent to continue our efforts to address the UK skills crisis through the expansion of our offering to support the full range of learning needs of organisations today.

“By combining the strengths, experience and expertise of our people, along with our complementary learning programmes, we are confident that QA InterQuad will rapidly deliver valuable new opportunities for our customers, our partners and our people.”

John Kauffman, Managing Director of QA InterQuad, said: “QA InterQuad is committed to the highest levels of customer service, continued investment in own brand curriculum and the delivery of innovative learning solutions that meet the specific needs of organisations. The benefits of new efficiencies and economies of scale derived through integration will be shared with our customers. Our aim is to provide a complete suite of learning and development services that will bring proven and sustainable long term value to our customers.”
