Ingram and CCD 'fully integrated'
Broadliner praises smooth and successful integration process and lauds staff retention rate
Matt Sanderson: Integration was smooth and successful
Ingram has revealed how the CCD team is now fully integrated into the business, four months after the acquisition.
The broadliner snapped up Computacenter's distribution arm for an undisclosed sum last October. At the time Johan Vandenbussche, vice president of the pan European business unit at Ingram, revealed the name would probably be phased out within four or five months of the acquisition.
Hailing the fact that customer and staff retentions have been "incredibly high", Matt Sanderson, managing director of Ingram UK, described the process as "smooth" and "successful". The former CCD management team has also been retained to ensure "continuance of service delivery", he said.
From 1 April, the distributor was also added to the HP ESS portfolio, which it claims will add to its in-house capabilities.
Jon Bunyard, director at Ingram Micro, said: “HP has a very strong focus on its converged infrastructure message at the moment. Ingram Micro is best placed to deliver that message to the channel, being HP’s only fully accredited converged infrastructure partner and the only wholesaler capable of selling and supporting HP’s entire ESSN portfolio.”
