Storage vendor promotes VAR after record six months' sales

VAR Esteem Systems has been promoted to Platinum Partner status by storage vendor Network Appliance (NetApp) after smashing through the £1m sales barrier in the last six months.

The figure represents a three-fold increase on sales in the previous six months and the new status will mean Esteem, which has worked with the vendor since the beginning of the year, is more closely aligned with NetApp and will enhance to delivery of services and solutions to its customer base.

Peter Rawden, UK channel director for NetApp said: “We have been impressed by the way Esteem works. Their understanding of customers’ needs has meant they have become one of our fastest growing partners in the UK.

“Our worldwide sales have risen significantly in recent years, and we would like to take this opportunity to recognise Esteem for their significant contribution to this success.”
