VARs set for Hi-Technology
Midwich teamed up with fellow distributor to set up tailored audiovisual event
Midwich has teamed up with distributor True Colours Distribution to organise a new audiovisual (AV) event named Hi-Technology.
The event consists of three consecutive roadshows on 4, 5 and 6 April 2006, starting at the City of Manchester Stadium, before moving on to Villa Park, Birmingham and then RAF Hendon.
Iain Campbell, sales and marketing director at True Colours, said: “The idea of distributors joining forces to promote AV products is a new strategy. It sits comfortably with True Colours and Midwich because our key vendors are non-competitive.”
Darren Lewitt, divisional director at Midwich, told CRN: “Many VARs don’t get a chance to go to the big trade shows abroad so Hi-Technology will give them the chance to see a wide range of new technologies. Some products won’t have been seen before in the UK.”
