Brookcourt breaches PCI compliance space

Security VAR adds web application firewall vendor Breach to its line-up

Security integrator Brookcourt Solutions has bolstered its Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance offering by adding Breach Security to its vendor roster.

Brookcourt will punt Breach’s WebDefend web application security appliance to its European client base of hospitals, banks, schools and local government accounts.

Phil Higgins, executive partner at Brookcourt, said a number of its clients had already deployed WebDefend to satisfy the demands of PCI compliance.

The appliance is designed to provide real-time, continuous web application integrity and security to prevent hacking attacks and stop data leakage.

“We are recommending Breach Security’s WebDefend to our clients that are facing the ever-increasing regulations handed down from central and European governments,” said Higgins.

Higgins added that Brookcourt had chosen WebDefend after an extensive testing process.
