Inlite petition becomes heavy going
Creditors lose patience with delayed winding-up of insolvent reseller
Micro P is to petition the Royal Courts of Justice to wind up Crawley-based reseller Inlite Computers.
The winding-up petition was presented on 5 November. An initial hearing was scheduled for 10 March, and a new hearing is believed to have been scheduled for 7 April.
Eddie Pacey, group credit services manager at Bell Microproducts Europe, which will be supporting Micro P in the petition, said: "The hearing has been put back because some paperwork was lost.
"We're a bit annoyed that this whole thing has dragged out so long."
Nitin Joshi, a director at insolvency practitioner PKF, said: "In all likelihood the company will be wound up, since it is insolvent.
"Clients of mine are unhappy that this has dragged on and they will require a full investigation of the company by a liquidator."
Attempts to contact Inlite Computers by phone and online were unsuccessful.
