Plimsoll results

Research company Plimsoll has revealed that 221 companies in the hardware industry have improved their sales position over the past four years while 619 saw themselves decline; nine remain unchanged. The five companies making the best improvements were ECS Finance, Kenda Systems, Compuadd Computer Group, Software Warehouse Plc and Roldec Systems Plc.

There was also rapid movement among companies' pre-tax profit rankings with the top five highlighted as KF Group Plc, Ingram Micro, Computer Services Consultants, ND Serviceteam and Genicom.
