Cognos crosses the border
Vendor signs Scottish VAR API Software to its channel programme
Business intelligence (BI) software vendor Cognos has broadened its reach across the border by signing Scottish VAR API Software to its partner network.
As a result API Software is looking to win around 15 new deals following its partnership with Cognos. It already works with a number of Scottish and global organisations including NHS Ayrshire & Arran, Halifax Bank of Scotland, Rathbones and Hewden Stuart.
Gordon McHarg, managing director of API Software said: “One of the biggest challenges facing our customers is finding an effective planning and budgeting solution. At the strong recommendation of our customers’ financial directors, we approached Cognos as we were keen to form a strategic partnership extending our expertise into this area. Working with Cognos will help meet our customers’ needs while further securing our market position.”
