Ramesys and Kodit link arms in school win
VARs combine to bag IT services contract with academy
VARs Ramesys and Kodit have joined forces to implement on-site IT services to the new £16.4m St Aidan’s C of E Academy building.
The two firms have implemented a number of technologies at the academy – which has been described as the fastest-changing school to academy in the UK – including an asset management suite, cashless catering, library system and parent pay system.
Alan Dick, assistant principal at St Aidan’s, said: “In accordance with the school’s transition to become an academy and its relocation to the new site, cutting-edge ICT solutions were imperative. To support us we appointed Kodit and Ramesys, which both boast a positive and strong presence in the education sector.
“They have provided the capability of fulfilling our needs and requirements as an academy, assisted us in becoming a technologically advanced learning provider, and provided effective and financially viable solutions within budget.”
Steve Dennis, project manager at Ramesys, said: “We have implemented state-of-the-art technology to support the academy and its 700 students. Through combining the skills and expertise of both Ramesys and Kodit, it has been possible to transform the academy into a 21st century educational establishment.”
Helen Mollart, director at Kodit, added: “This is the first time we have partnered with Ramesys, and it has been a resounding success. We look forward to combining our strengths in future projects.”
