C2000 celebrates Finance Scheme success
More than 60 resellers signed up for instant credit scheme in first two weeks
Ready with the readies: C2000 is confident of even greater uptake of its scheme
Computer 2000 (C2000) is claiming a successful first month for its End User Finance Scheme, with more than 60 resellers already registered.
The online scheme was launched last month in conjunction with financing firm Syscap, and is designed to increase the speed it takes resellers to get quotations underwritten and approved. It also notifies partners instantly when their credit request has been approved.
C2000’s initiative covers more than 30,000 hardware and software products and services including maintenance and is available for deals worth from £3,000 to more than £1m. It also allows VARs to bundle equipment and services into one offering.
Andy Dow, marketing director at C2000, said: “The key thing from our point of view is that it is something that has been embraced by the channel. We believe there has been a need for this sort of scheme and the uptake has been excellent.
“It is good to see resellers making use of this tool to secure business and it means we know we have done something that gives real value to resellers and are helping them to win deals that perhaps they could not have done any other way.”
He said the distribution giant is hoping more resellers will sign up to the scheme in the near future. To find out more, click here.
