Lenovo launches first branded products

Chinese vendor has unveiled its own-branded PCs and notebooks, since buyout from IBM

Lenovo has launched its first Lenovo-branded PCs available through the channel.

The Lenovo 3000 product line, aimed at the SME sector, includes notebooks - the Lenovo C Series – and desktop PCs - the Lenovo J Series. New features include a suite of Lenovo Care tools, to help make PCs more self-reliant, a one-button system recovery to help users diagnose, get help, and recover systems from catastrophic software failures and connectivity for simple wired or wireless set up.

Lenovo is also offering worldwide customers a choice of Intel or AMD configurations.

Deepak Advani, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, at Lenovo said:
"The new Lenovo 3000 product family embodies a distinct entrepreneurial persona by combining the most successful components of enterprise level, ThinkPad-inspired technologies with the latest Lenovo innovations to create PCs users can depend on."
