Trader says Oh ****! over Toys R Us price action.
Snoop has a happy ending to the tale of one market trader fooled by aToys R Us price cut and tells how one mum swears by a kids' computer.
One of Snoop's snouts tells him that Toys R Us' reputation as a trade business warehouse fooled one market trader into thinking its premature Sony Playstation price crash to u197 was just the toy giant buying market share rather than any official move in the console price. Accordingly he splashed out u1576 on eight machines from his local branch and was a little choked to discover he could have paid less buying them trade.
On the bright side Toys R Us' eager action gave him a few days start on the rest of the competition and he sold his first two machines at u249 each and if he only punts the remaining six out at u199 he reckons he's cleared just over u100.
Being a responsible father himself, Snoop was concerned to hear that Toys R Us has been selling computers that teach your children to say naughty words. On further investigation he discovered the superstore chain had been forced to temporarily delist a u90 children's computerised tutor known as the Power Pack which does utter four letter obscenities.
Seven-year-old private school boy, Mark Hartshorn of Walsall, was caught cursing by his Mum leaving the poor woman totally gobsmacked.
