HP takes UK model to US
Hewlett Packard US has reorganised, following the model implemented by the UK operation in May.
HP US has reorganised its sales and marketing organisation, run by VP and general manager Alex Sozonoff, into three groups: commercial resellers, enterprise accounts and retail. The UK business set up a similar tiered accounts structure, but both territories will continue with their mixed channel policies (PC Dealer, 29 May).
The US commercial channel salesforce will work with all sizes of business account. Keith Watson, former general manager of HP computer products sales and distribution in Asia and the Pacific, has become worldwide manager of the commercial channel salesforce.
Richard Justice has been promoted to worldwide manager of HP's enterprise salesforce, the corporate group. The equivalent retail division, consumer sales and marketing, will be run by Pradeep Jotwani.
All three salesforces will report to Sozonoff's sales and marketing organisation.
