Security vendor SafeBoot has joined the SecureIT Alliance founded by Microsoft.

As a member of the Alliance, a web-enabled community that serves as a central point for members to share security solutions and information, SafeBoot will offer its expertise in data protection via centralised encryption and access control.

Frank Jorissen, vice president of business development at SafeBoot, said: “Stopping corporate data leakage is a growing concern for companies and government agencies. Empowering these organisations to establish and enforce their security policies is saving them the embarrassment and large costs due to breaches.”
