ADI Snaps up Overland's CCTV range
Distributor to offer Overland's Snap Server IP video surveillance range in UK
The Snap range is suitable for Mobotix CCTV products
ADI Global Distribution has partnered with Overland Storage for its Snap Server Internet Protocol (IP) video surveillance solutions.
The Overland Storage Snap Server products are designed to store large quantities of high-quality images and video from digital CCTV cameras.
ADI provides intrusion, video, fire, access control, audio and integrated systems solutions.
Ray Ashby, product manager for IP at ADI Global Distribution, said: “This new agreement comes at an ideal time, with increasingly higher resolutions achievable with current technologies.
“This agreement will help us meet the resulting demand for better data storage.”
The Snap range can be networked with most IP cameras and is suitable for use with Mobotix CCTV products.
David Spate, sales and marketing director for EMEA disk solutions at Overland Storage, said: “We are excited about the new distribution agreement with ADI and look forward to supplying the storage requirements created in the IP video surveillance market as a result of advancing technologies.”
