Swyx links arms with Gamma
Vendors claim latest technology partnership will benefit their joint channel partners
Voice vendor Gamma Telecom and IP telephony manufacturer Swyx are looking to drive more business through their channel partners following their latest technology partnership.
The duo claim their respective resellers can now offer a complete SIP trunking service after the vendors completed an ‘extensive’ interoperability and quality of service testing programme.
Andy Bills, senior vice president of sales at Swyx, which appointed
Computerlinks as its third UK distributor in September (CRN, 14
September), said: “This alliance provides resellers with the opportunity
to offer their customers a complete SIP trunking solution, enabling them
to create more margin possibilities on both the voice application and
the re-selling of SIP trunk lines.
“Their customers will also benefit significantly as they will no longer
have to pay for the rental of expensive ISDN lines and they can enjoy
vastly reduced call charges.”
Cem Ahmet, marketing manager at Gamma, added: “The guaranteed
interoperability between Gamma's IP DirectConnect (SIP trunking service)
and Swyx's hardware means that both our channel partners will be able to
increase their revenue earning potential.”
