Aethra starts up partner accreditation for conferencing VARs

Tripartite programme rolled out to support video and audio kit sales

Video conferencing VARs are targeted with new Aethra accreditation

Video communications vendor Aethrais rolling out a partner accreditation programme to drive sales of its products by video and audioconferencing resellers.

Andy Wright, managing director at Aethra, said it should attract resellers for whom conferencing is not core.

“We fully understand that while some resellers are dedicated to video communications, and already have the technical expertise, there are others who recognise the sales potential of video and audioconferencing, but want to make it part of their broader business interests,” Wright said.

The programme will be divided into Approved Resellers, Premier Partners and Premier Elite Partners, each receiving different levels of marketing and sales support depending on the reseller’s focus on video and audioconferencing.

All members will get access to an account manager, demonstration support and sales training as well as a chance to participate in trade shows. Discounts will also be on offer.

“Since we started the UK business last summer we have attracted a number of channel partners,” Wright said.

Partners must remain active with Aethra to stay on the programme and the overall number of accredited partners will remain restricted.

A new Aethra videoconferencing product will ship in November.
