Griffin offers partners hard cash

ISP responds to tough business climate by offering partners quarterly cash rebates

Griffin Internet is offering partners a quarterly cash rebate based on their total spend, in what it claims is a channel first for ISPs in the UK.

Partners will be refunded up to £9.00 for every line sold depending on their overall spend, growth and the location of the end customer.

The scheme will cover every Griffin product, including its high-growth MPLS IP VPN offering.

Andrew Dickinson, sales and marketing director at Griffin, admitted that money talks in the current climate.

He said: “Last year’s voucher scheme was a great success and when we asked our partners what they wanted to see in the Partner Development Programme this year it became clear it was something similar but with hard cash going back to the principles of the business to reward loyalty and growth.”

Sam Vigor, product manager at VAR Eurotel, said: “In the current economic climate a generous rebate scheme is just the kind of programme the channel needs. Griffin’s larger partners will benefit even if their rate of growth has slowed and smaller partners that are growing their business with Griffin can earn substantial rewards too.”
