Training firm reaches out to Cisco channel with CCNA 'boot camp'

Training specialist Fast Lane has claimed its residential Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course allows VARs to save time and money while forging valuable business bonds.

The “boot camp” costs about £3,000 and runs from Monday to Saturday. Attendees sit an exam on the final day.

Students will spend the week in luxury accommodation and Fast Lane’s UK marketing director Karen Whittaker said: “I think this will be really popular with the channel you can cut down on travel costs and the days can be as long as the students require. There are also lots of opportunities for networking; you can bond with people over six days.”

Whittaker urged companies that have scaled back training spend to think again.
“We are seeing a lot more demand for qualifications like the CCNA in the marketplace,” she added.

“People should be looking to diversify.”
