Sweet deal for Three Cherries

VAR picked by chocolate manufacturer

VAR Three Cherries has been picked by chocolate manufacturer Elizabeth Shaw to upgrade its security infrastructure.

The chocolate maker, which employs about 25 UK staff, conducts a large part of its business online and picked Three Cherries to install a Unified Threat Management (UTM) device from vendor Network Box.

Ian Birkett, managing director of Three Cherries, said: “We reviewed the security needs at Elizabeth Shaw and advised that a UTM device would tick all the required boxes.”

Elliot Price, IT manager at Elizabeth Shaw, said: “We were having problems with spam and malware/spyware and we really didn’t have much control over web browsing. When we discussed this with Three Cherries, it recognised that we needed a single source UTM device and identified Network Box as the best solution.”
