Comstor MD for Europe to move aside
Simon England to step down at end of March
Comstor's European managing director, Simon England, will step down at the end of March as part of a management restructure.
Tom Dolan, chief executive of Westcon Group, Comstor's parent firm, said: "The overall growth rate in the industry of between eight and 12 per cent will mean compression of management. And distribution is experiencing a lower growth rate."
The firm will appoint a president for Westcon Group in Europe, joining the management of Westcon with Comstor, said Simon Minett, chief operating officer at Westcon Europe.
Mike Harris, managing director of Cisco Gold partner TNS, said: "If the move doesn't affect price or stocking it shouldn't have any major effect on us."
