Pickering: We have been on a high growth curve
VAR Block Solutions has Cisco Gold Partner status in its sights just weeks after achieving Silver Partner Certification.
The firm already boasts an extensive list of Cisco advanced specialisations, as well as its TelePresence and DMS accreditations.
Jon Pickering, managing director of Block, said: “We earned Silver status in April and are expecting to transition to Gold in early June.”
Pickering said his firm is moving “aggressively” into the datacentre and collaboration space around video and is seeing strong growth.
“We have grown year on year and posted 20 per cent growth in our last financial year. We have been on a high growth curve since we started four and a half years ago,” he said.
He added that the firm is also recruiting new staff on a monthly basis as it guns for more contracts.
“We are able to differentiate ourselves against our larger competition,” he said.
“The current market place is suited to smaller, more agile businesses like ours.”
