Data Integration named as Syscap Technology Innovator of the Year

Data Integration was named as the Syscap Technology Innovator of the Year at the prestigious Channel Awards in London last month.

The firm won the accolade for developing and delivering a network with over 5,000 connection points to Warwick University, allowing students to access the internet from their rooms at any time.

Gigabit Ethernet was used throughout. Data Integration also developed a dedicated information portal, as well as an online billing system.

Six-monthly Innovator awards were presented to resellers in the run-up to the main event. The other winners were CSE Education, which installed a laser-based network linking seven schools in Islington, north London, Panacea, FD Systems, Lynx Technology and BSG.

Their work was considered by a panel of judges that included the editors of vnunet.com's sister publications Computer Reseller News and Computing, and their stories were covered in both publications.

Next year finance specialist Syscap, which sponsors the scheme, hopes to encourage more resellers to publicise their unique ability to develop and deliver innovative solutions. There will also be another annual award.
