dabs.com unveils virtual video library

Customers can now search the firm's entire catalogue by manufacturer, product category or a combination of both

e-tailer dabs.com has launched a new “virtual video library” to enhance its collection of dabs.tv streaming video clips.

The virtual video library allows shoppers to browse the range of products Dabs is stocking. According to Dabs, which was acquired by BT earlier this year, the move now allows users to search the virtual library using a quick-search function or choose to browse video content by product category, manufacturer or through a combination of these elements.

Dabs.tv also allows viewers to see a 360-degree view of some products, as well as being able to zoom in for a close up. Each product has an accompanying voice description which talks through the features and benefits. The videos are available 24-hours a day and are free to watch.

Jonathan Wall, marketing director at dabs.com said: “While our website has included dabs.tv video content for some time, our new virtual library gives visitors a fresh way to browse our products range that is more engaging than ever before.

“We hope this new approach will make our video content more accessible and in turn, help improve the overall dabs.com customer experience.”
