ViewSonic has also added the Nokia 710C to its CRT range. The 17in monitor features a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 with a recommended resolution of 1024 x 768 at 85Hz. The 710C has a dot pitch of 0.25mm.
The display has two integrated 5W speakers and a built-in microphone. However, an external microphone is required for use with voice-recognition software.
Bharat Kumar, marketing manager at ViewSonic Europe, said: "The Nokia 510L and 710C will prove popular with small office/home office and corporate users who wish to upgrade their display without having to break their budgets."
Both the Nokia 510L and 710C feature on-screen set-up controls and are plug-and-play compatible in Mac and PC environments, he said.
The estimated retail prices are £599 for the Nokia 510L and £199 for the 710C, including VAT. Both include a three-year warranty. ViewSonic also said that its best-selling monitor, the 17in E771, will be renamed the E70.
