Quova extands global partner programme

Vendor looks to increase UK presence

Software vendor Quova has extended its global certified partner programme in the UK to increase its market footprint.
The global programme was first unveiled in 2002 to assist resellers going to market with Quova’s GeoDirectory software, which allows companies to locate the position of internet users around the world.
Bill Varga, vice president of development at Quova, told CRN: “Our primary go-to-market strategy is through our partners. By extending the programme, we hope to strengthen our presence in the UK and gain more channel partners.”
Varga claimed the programme had been such a success that the vendor decided to open it up to potential new partners.
“It is now open to new partners that, provided they have the correct infrastructure and can supply a sufficient business plan to demonstrate how they will use Quova’s products, shouldn’t have too much trouble qualifying,” Varga added.
Clive Longbottom, service director at analyst Quocirca, said: “Quova needs to choose partners that can add value, that understand the product and are qualified to support it. Partners must be highly dynamic as firms that are looking for solutions need help to put these in place.”
