Lexmark enterprise vice-president moves to HP IPG
HP managed print services to benefit from his two decades of experience
Tarkiainen's remit will include EMEA managed print services for large enterprises
HP has hired Marko Tarkiainen as a vice president for the EMEA managed enterprise solutions division of its Imaging and Printing Group (IPG).
Tarkiainen joins HP from Lexmark where he was general manager for EMEA enterprise sales. The Finnish national will be based in Geneva and has 20 years of international experience, according to the vendor.
Arnold Marty, general manager of HP IPG’s managed enterprise solutions division, will be Tarkiainen’s boss.
“We are delighted with the appointment of a proven industry leader to drive our sales efforts across the region,” Marty said.
Tarkiainen will help manage the delivery of services and solutions to enterprise customers’ printing and digital imaging environments, such as workflow, document management, security and corporate compliance offerings as well as managed print services.
