Peter Rigby, marketing director at CHS, admitted that he expects to lose around 50 of its 450 employees through voluntary redundancy when it moves into premises in Slough at the beginning of the year.
"We do have a number, around 50 people would be ideal," said Rigby. He was unable to say in which areas the redundancies would come from.
Staff at CHS were told last week that they have two weeks in which to apply for voluntary redundancy.
