Snom offers low-cost VoIP

Vendor launches partner programme

Snom Technology has launched its Interoperability and Technology Partner Programme as it looks to make strides in the voice over IP market.
The scheme is largely internet based and will assist partners in finding suitable products and troubleshooting compatibility problems.
“The programme will see which IT solutions work together,” explained Snom partner manager, Tim Koehler.
“Some customers want specific technology and others demand an open system. We hope the partner programme will allow customers to make the right choice.”
Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at analyst firm EuroLAN, said: “Snom is not competing with the likes of Microsoft so it is in a good position if it can remain price competitive. The big challenge will come from China and the Far East.”
