C2000 keeps InTouch

Broadliner claims reseller feedback is the main driver for adding new functionalities to its InTouch online ordering system

Computer 2000 (C2000) has revamped its online ordering system, InTouch, which it claims will further simplify the process for its reseller base.

Version 8.2 of the system has been released in response to reseller feedback, the distributor claimed.

New features include a ‘one-step’ confirmation process and more advanced and flexible search tools. It has also added a multiple log-on capability, allowing resellers with multiple accounts to place all product orders in one session, and it also allows VARs to order Hewlett-Packard e-Carepack contracts.

Alice Smitherman, director of volume products at C2000 said: ““InTouch has become a vitally important tool for our customers and C2000 will continue to enhance and develop it in response to feedback. The latest additions are significant for our customers because they make it easier and more cost-efficient for them transact business with us, so that’s a benefit that goes straight onto the bottom line.”

“The value of good product availability, efficient order processing and reliable delivery services should never be underestimated,” she added. “These are the core elements of our value proposition and without them, resellers would not be able to rely on us getting the right products to them in the right place at the right time.”

The distributor has also taken the requests of its VARs in the Republic of Ireland into consideration by including a facility that allows Euro currency credit or debit cards to be used. This makes it easier for cash-with-order customers in Ireland to make purchases, C2000 claimed.
