Norris-Grey heads for Sun
Oracle UK VP of alliances and channels becomes Sun's UK managing director
Oracle has lost its vice-president of alliances and channels in the UK, Trudy Norris-Grey, who starts today as managing director of Sun UK.
This comes just weeks after Oracle cemented its take-over of PeopleSoft and axed 5,000 jobs.
"Although we're sorry to lose Trudy's talents, we are pleased that she will be able to put them to use for a valued partner, Sun," said Ian Smith, managing director of Oracle UK, Ireland and South Africa in a statement.
"She was an excellent leader here of the Alliances and Channels programme, which will remain strong after Trudy's departure."
Norris-Grey replaces Leslie Stretch in the top post at Sun UK. Stretch, who was poached from Oracle to fill the slot two years ago, has been promoted to the position of global vice-president of alliance sales at Sun.
